Natural Mehndi: The longer you keep it on, the darker the stain. However, it is advisable to keep it for a minimum of 3 hours.
Instant Henna: The colour should catch by the time it dries. Every instant product may have different drying times.
Natural Mehndi: Depending on the quality of henna used, the stain could last anywhere between 7 to 14 days, before it’ll visibly start to fade.
Instant Henna: Usually instant henna starts to fade after 48 hours, depending how often the area is washed.
We prefer and advise you to use natural mehndi, as some people may experience irritation, sensitivities and even allergies when using instant henna.
It can also depend on the occasion or just a matter of personal preference.
Bridal mehndi should be done at least 2-3 days before your wedding ceremony.
Bear in mind that natural mehndi will darken over this period, and reach it’s desired stain colour – hence suggested 2-3 days prior.
